Honored and humbled to design a historic document for Georgetown University: The Report of the Working Group on Slavery, Memory, and Reconciliation. The 120-page book outlines Georgetown's difficult and recently publicized history with slavery, and details a comprehensive set of recommendations to the President of the University to account for and redress Georgetown's past relationship.
The Report's understated yet dignified design reflects the serious nature of the book's subject. The cover flap is embossed with the report title and University seal on a deep blue. Copies of the book were made available to the public, and mailed to all of the living descendants of the 1830 Georgetown slave sale.
The New York Times featured a home page article about the report's release.

Strategy and design services for the Massachusetts Cultural Council, the Commonwealth's art agency that promotes excellence, access, education, and diversity in the arts, humanities, and sciences.
In 2015, the MCC promoted its work and its goals through a case study booklet. High quality design, illustration of infographics, and production coordination of the case study made a big impact on lawmakers, ultimately leading to the first budget increase for the MCC since 2008. The work was updated and re-published in 2017.
Every other year, the Commonwealth Awards honors artists, performers, institutions, and arts advocates at the State House -- the highest honor in the arts in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In 2015, design of a new brand and logo for the event, as well as program booklet and slideshow presentation, elevated this important cultural event.

In the 21st century, the human species resembles a migratory one: compelled to travel great distances in order to gather together, conduct business, share an experience, or find some rest and relaxation. For many, not moving is not an option. This is the powerful concept behind The Travel Collaborative's new brand identity and website design.
Using five familiar migratory species (Monarch butterfly, elephant, Canadian goose, tern, and tortoise), a brand identity system was created to underscore the client's expertise in getting clients from point A to point B like it’s their second nature.
The website features backdrops of rich, immersive, responsive full-screen images. The bright, direct design correlates with the client's ability to provide an effortless experience and personal contact with your travel consultant. Featured content includes “Top 14 Reasons to Hire TTC”, travel case studies, and consultant directory.

NEMO Equipment Product Catalogs for consumers and industry partners.
Role: Principal Designer, Copy Writer, Product Information Coordinator, Final File Preparation, and Coordination with Print Vendor
For 2014 Workbook, conceptualized and wrote copy for introductory page, "Imagine If..." highlighting the product innovations and comforts offered by NEMO gear compared to industry standards.
Various promotional materials created for NEMO Equipment, including print materials, POP graphics, HTML emails (design & coding), banner ads, and a custom letterpress certificate.
Hangtags, packaging, and product graphics for NEMO product.
I lead the design of updating all tent hangtags, enhancing the presentation of information by creating easy-to-follow content headers and larger, clearer diagrams, among other refinements. Additionally I designed an infographic to help customers narrow down their options depending on end use (i.e. backpacking vs. car camping).
Sleeping bags were introduced as a new product for NEMO. I worked with the Product Design team to select material colors for the 2013 line, designed product graphics and labels, and communicated application type and placement with production teams. Designed line-up of sleeping bag hangtags to coordinate with NEMO tent hangtags.
The NEMO sleeping pad line was revamped for the 2014 season with a new naming convention, colors, and additional product. I was responsible for color selection across the line and the design of product graphics. Updated graphic application from heat transfer to screen printing increased durability, and was responsible for ink color selections and testing. Product packaging was also enhanced from shrink-wrapped packing to using product stuff sacks for better shelf presence.

The Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod wanted to update their logo in celebration of the Society's 20th anniversary. In 1995, the PPSCC's goal was to establish viable exhibition venues for the medium while fostering the public education and appreciation of pastels. In nearly two decades, PPSCC has grown to more than 250 members in 30 states and U.S. territories.
Using the well-known geography of Cape Cod was a launching point for this artistic community. They also host a National Juried Exhibition annually, "For Pastels Only." A promotional postcard, advertisement, and program were designed for the 2015 event.
Boston Wine Exchange is a boutique wine store in Boston's Financial District, near the former Boston Stock Exchange. While designing the logo, I developed the shorthand of "BWX," which invokes the stock market, and is used as the primary identity of the business. Identity suite included design of business cards, store bags, gift cards, and exterior signage.

The Flamingo Club is a boutique luxury hotel in Miami Beach, FL. This project also required the development of a brand through the design of a logo, marketing collateral, and website. Bright intense colors, sleek angles and use of italics are drawn from the fast-paced atmosphere and nightlife scene of Miami.
